Note
• The dash-electrical supply unit prior to replacement stores the vehicle specification information.
• The new dash-electrical supply unit does not store any vehicle specification information.
• When the ignition is switched ON after the dash-electrical supply unit is replaced, the dash-electrical supply unit reads the vehicle specification information sent via CAN transmission from the instrument cluster, and stores the vehicle specification information.

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove the following parts:

(1)Glove compartment (without passenger-side knee air bag module) (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)Passenger-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(5)Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(6)Passenger-side lower panel (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
(7)Passenger-side knee air bag module (with passenger-side knee air bag module) (See KNEE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM – US/CANADA SPEC.].)

3.Disconnect the connectors.

4.Remove the screws.

5.Remove the dash-electrical supply unit.

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.Switch the ignition ON and perform the dash-electrical supply unit automatic configuration.

8.Perform dash-electrical supply unit configuration (when replacing dash-electrical supply unit). (See CONFIGURATION.)

9.Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

• If a DTC is detected, perform troubleshooting according to the DTC. (See DTC TABLE [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (US)].)
