Door Lock Switch Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)

3.Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

• If the continuity is not as indicated in the table, replace the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)

LED Illumination Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)

3.Apply battery positive voltage to cluster switch terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground.

4.Verify that the LED is turned on.

• If the LED does not turn on, replace the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)

Liftgate

Door Lock Switch Inspection

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)

3.Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

• If the continuity is not as indicated in the table, replace the door lock switch. (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
