EXTRACTOR CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the following parts:

a. Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

b. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

c. Partition board (See PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

d. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

e. Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

f. Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

g. Rear bumper stay (See REAR BUMPER STAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

h. Rear bumper retainer No.1 (See REAR BUMPER RETAINER No.1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

i. Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3. While pressing the extractor chamber tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the extractor chamber in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the extractor chamber from the body.

4. Remove the extractor chamber.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
