\u2022 The indicator unit turns the passenger’s side seat belt warning light on\/off based on the request signal sent from the instrument cluster.<\/div>\n

Structure\/Construction<\/p>\n

\u2022 The indicator unit is positioned in the center of the dashboard.<\/div>\n
\u2022 The indicator unit consists of the following parts.<\/div>\n

Operation<\/p>\n

Passenger’s side seat belt warning light<\/p>\n

1.When the indicator unit receives (1) the passenger’s seat belt warning light on request signal from the BCM while the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on), it turns on (2) the transistor.<\/p>\n

\n

2.When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the passenger’s side seat belt warning light is established and the passenger’s side seat belt warning light turns on (3).<\/p>\n

Rear seat belt warning light<\/p>\n

1.When the BCM receives (1) the rear seat belt warning light on request signal from the instrument cluster while the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on), it turns on (2) the transistor.<\/p>\n

2.When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the rear seat belt warning light is established and the rear seat belt warning light turns on (3).<\/p>\n
