\u2022 A liftgate opener system has been adopted in which the liftgate can be opened just by pressing the liftgate opener switch.<\/div>\n

\u2022 When the liftgate opener switch is pressed, the liftgate latch and lock actuator operates to open the liftgate.<\/div>\n

Operation<\/p>\n

\u2022 When the body control module (BCM) detects the liftgate opener switch on signal while the door lock-link switch (driver\u2019s side and passenger\u2019s side) unlock signals (driver\u2019s and passenger\u2019s door locks unlocked) are detected and the theft-deterrent system is not operating with the following conditions met, it opens the liftgate.<\/div>\n

\u2015 The door of driver\u2019s side and passenger\u2019s side are unlocked<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Open operation<\/p>\n

1.When the liftgate opener switch is pressed, it turns on (1).<\/p>\n

\n

2.When the operation condition of the liftgate opener system is met, the body control module (BCM) sends a liftgate release signal (2) by using CAN communication to the electrical supply unit (ESU).<\/p>\n

\n

3.When the electrical supply unit (ESU) receives a liftgate release signal (2), it turns the transistor on (3) and turns on the liftgate release relay.<\/p>\n

\n

4.When the liftgate release relay turns on, the liftgate latch and lock actuator operates (4).<\/p>\n
