Operation<\/p>\n

\u2022 The PCM energizes the coil installed in the sensor to create a magnetic field. Depressing the clutch pedal moves the permanent magnet next to the coil. The PCM detects the amount in which the clutch pedal is depressed by measuring the change in magnetic flux occurring when the permanent magnetic moves.<\/p>\n
