Detection principle<\/p>\n

\u2022 When current flows to the energizing coil from the IC, the receiving coil generates voltage which causes electromagnetic induction between the energizing coil, the rotor coil and the receiving coil.<\/div>\n
\u2022 When the rotor coil positional relationship changes, the generated voltage changes.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Operation<\/p>\n

1.The TP sensor detects (1) the accelerator pedal depression amount.<\/p>\n

2.The TP sensor sends (2) the detected accelerator pedal depression amount to the PCM as accelerator pedal position main (No.1) and sub (No.2) signals.<\/p>\n
