1.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n

2.Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n

3.Perform the vehicle identification.<\/p>\n

4.Select the \u201cQuick Check\u201d from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.<\/p>\n

6.Clear DTCs following the instructions on the screen.<\/p>\n

\u2022 When clearing a DTC, information such as the freeze frame data\/snapshot data, pending code will be also cleared, therefore it is necessary to jot down the required information in advance.<\/div>\n
\u2022 When clearing the DTC, a quick check is performed automatically.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

7.From the results of a quick check, verify that a DTC is not displayed.<\/p>\n

8.Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n

\n

9.Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 10 s or more<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Additional driving may be required based on the differences in the module specifications and the preconditions for DTC troubleshooting execution. Implement the repeatability verification procedure indicated for each DTC if necessary.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

10.Perform the on-demand self test and verify that no DTCs are displayed. (See DTC INSPECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
