1.Position the front seat back to the fully reclined position and slide the front seat to its furthest rearward position.<\/p>\n

2.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Liftgate Grommet Installation Note<\/p>\n

1.Install the liftgate grommet using the following procedure.<\/p>\n

\n

(1)Engage a new inner liftgate grommet as shown in the figure.<\/dd>\n

\u2022 If the inner liftgate grommet is removed once the attaching ability of the tabs weaken and it may cause leakage. Always replace it with a new one if it is removed once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
