\u2022 The Bluetooth \u00ae<\/sup> pairing information stored in the CMU cannot be written to a new CMU. Therefore, the Bluetooth \u00ae<\/sup> pairing information will be eliminated if the CMU is replaced. Before replacing the CMU, explain to the customer that the Bluetooth \u00ae<\/sup> pairing resetting is required.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the passenger-side decoration panel. (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n

4.Remove the CMU in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

5.Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

7.If the connectivity master unit (CMU) is replaced, perform the following procedure.<\/p>\n

(1)Complete the connectivity master unit (CMU) automatic configuration using the following procedure.<\/dd>\n

\n
1)Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
2)Switch the ignition OFF.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
3)Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) again.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(2)Clear the DTC. (See CLEARING DTC<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

(3)Install the owner\u2019s manual data using the diagnostic assist function.<\/dd>\n
