1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

(1)Rear wiper arm and blade (See REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

\n
(2)Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(3)Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(4)Liftgate recess (See LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(5)Door lock switch (with door lock switch) (See DOOR LOCK SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(6)Liftgate lower trim (See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

3.Disconnect the connectors and clips.<\/p>\n

4.Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n

5.Pull out the rear wiper motor pin from the outer bushing and remove the rear wiper motor.<\/p>\n

6.Press in the outer bushing from the outside of the liftgate.<\/p>\n

7.Pull the outer bushing from the inside of the liftgate and remove it.<\/p>\n

8.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
