\u2022 The rear map light can be removed without having to remove the headliner from the vehicle.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

2. Sunvisor (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n
3. Assist handle (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n
4. A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n
5. Front seat belt lower anchor (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n
6. B-pillar upper trim (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n
7. Trunk side upper trim (5HB) (See TRUNK SIDE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n
8. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n

3.Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

\u2022 When removing the rear map light from the bracket, the rear map light may fall off and be damaged. Remove the rear map light from the bracket while holding the rear map light on the lens side by hand.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

4.Move the bracket in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, and press the center map light in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure to detach the center map light tab from the bracket.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the rear map light.<\/p>\n
