Liftgate Lock Actuator Inspection<\/p>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the liftgate latch and lock actuator. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the liftgate latch and lock actuator terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the operation condition.<\/p>\n

Liftgate Latch Switch Inspection<\/p>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the liftgate latch and lock actuator. (See LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n
