Driver’s side<\/p>\n

1.Fully close the front door glass.<\/p>\n

\n

2.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

\n

\n
(1)Front door speaker grille (See SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

\n
(2)Inner garnish (See INNER GARNISH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(3)Power window main switch (See POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(4)Front door trim (See FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

(5)Front inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

4.Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

5.Detach the service hole cover tabs from the body using a remover tool.<\/p>\n

6.Lift the service hole cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the service hole cover hooks from the body.<\/p>\n

7.Remove the clip A and B.<\/p>\n

9.Pull the door lock knob cable and the inner handle cable from the service hole cover.<\/p>\n

10.Remove the service hole cover. (See Service hole cover installation note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

11.Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

12.Tilt the front door latch and lock actuator in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, lift it in the direction of arrow (2), and then detach the front door latch and lock actuator hook from the body.<\/p>\n

13.Tilt the front door latch and lock actuator in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out the front door key cylinder from the front door latch and lock actuator.<\/p>\n

1.Verify that the front door key cylinder is assembled to the front door latch and lock actuator.<\/p>\n
