\u2022 Handling a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings\/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the front seat (side air bag integrated). 1.Switch the ignition OFF (LOCK).<\/p>\n

2.Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Slide hooks A in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3) shown in the figure and disconnect them from hooks B.<\/p>\n

4.Open fasteners.<\/p>\n

5.Disconnect the lumber support motor connector.<\/p>\n

6.Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the lumbar support motor terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the front seat operation condition.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If the operation cannot be verified as indicated in the table, replace the front seat back frame. (See FRONT SEAT BACK FRAME DISASSEMBLY\/ASSEMBLY [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/div>\n\n\n\n
