Removal<\/p>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Disconnect the auto-dimming rearview mirror connector.<\/p>\n

4.Remove the wiring harness clip.<\/p>\n

\u2022 When detaching the auto-dimming rearview mirror from the mirror base, the auto-dimming rearview mirror could fall off and be damaged. When removing the auto-dimming rearview mirror, perform the work while holding the mirror with a hand.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

5.Insert a flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

6.Move the flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the auto-dimming rearview mirror.<\/p>\n

1.Align the auto-dimming rearview mirror with the mirror base notch.<\/p>\n
