If the damage or cracking in the windshield glass repair prohibited area is repaired, it could affect the recognition of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) and the system may not operate normally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reusing Windshield<\/p>\n

1.Remove the sealant along the perimeter of the glass using a utility knife.<\/p>\n

2.Clean and degrease an approx. 50 mm {2.0 in}<\/span> wide strip along the perimeter of the windshield.<\/p>\n

\n

3.Inspect the glass for cracks. If it is cracked, chamfer it using sandpaper.<\/p>\n

\n

4.Align the alignment marks made before removal and install the pins to the windshield referring to the figure.<\/p>\n

17.Verify that the gaps and heights between the side frame and windshield, between the roof panel and windshield, and between the cowl grille and windshield are within the ranges shown in the figure, and completely press along the perimeter of the glass.<\/p>\n
