\u2022 When the front door checker securing bolt is removed, the front door may open until it contacts the front fender panel causing the front door and the front fender panel to be damaged. Before removing the front door, overlap and adhere the protective tape to the position shown in the figure and be careful not to damage the front door and the front fender panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove bolt A shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

3.Remove the connector. (See Connector Removal Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Remove bolts B.<\/p>\n

\n

5.Remove the front door.<\/p>\n

\n

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

\n

7.Adjust the front door. (See DOOR ADJUSTMENT<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

8.Perform the 360\u00b0 view monitor system aiming. (with 360\u00b0 view monitor system) (See 360\u00b0VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Connector Removal Note<\/p>\n

1.Partially peel back the rubber boot in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it from the connector.<\/p>\n

2.Using a remover tool, press the tabs in the direction of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove the connector from the body in the direction of arrow (3).<\/p>\n

3.Using a remover tool, press the tabs in the direction of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove the upper part of the connector from the body in the direction of arrow (3).<\/p>\n

4.Release the lever lock by pressing the connector tab shown in the figure and tilt the lever in the direction of the arrow.<\/p>\n
