\u2022 If the measured value exceeds the standard clearance, adjust the trunk lid using the following procedure:<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

2.Loosen the trunk lid installation bolts, and reposition the trunk lid. (See TRUNK LID REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Tighten the trunk lid installation bolts. (See TRUNK LID REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

4.Spray or pour water on the trunk lid and surrounding area using a hose or high pressure water pressure car wash and verify that there is no water leakage.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If the height difference is out of the standard clearance or the trunk lid does not open\/close smoothly, loosen the trunk lid lock striker installation bolts and adjust the trunk lid.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

2.Loosen the bolts, and reposition the trunk lid lock striker. (See TRUNK LID LOCK STRIKER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Tighten the bolts. (See TRUNK LID LOCK STRIKER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Spray or pour water on the trunk lid and surrounding area using a hose or high pressure water pressure car wash and verify that there is no water leakage.<\/p>\n
