1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Discharge the refrigerant. (See REFRIGERANT RECOVERY<\/a>.) (See REFRIGERANT CHARGING [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Remove the front under cover No.1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

4.Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.) (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

5.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

6.Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If moisture or foreign matter enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise or other malfunctions could occur. Always plug open fittings immediately after removing any refrigeration cycle parts.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

7.Disconnect the cooler hose (HI) and cooler pipe. Do not allow remaining compressor oil in the refrigerant line to spill.<\/p>\n

8.Remove the condenser, being careful not to allow remaining compressor oil in the condenser to spill. (See Condenser Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
