\u2022 The shift-lock solenoid is built into the selector lever component.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

(2)Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

(3)Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(4)Cup holder (See CUP HOLDER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(5)Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

3.Reconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Verify that the voltages of each of the selector lever component terminals are as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n
