Water Hose<\/p>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Air cleaner cover<\/div>\n
\u2022 Air cleaner element<\/div>\n
\u2022 Fresh-air duct<\/div>\n
\u2022 Air cleaner case<\/div>\n
\u2022 Air hose<\/div>\n
\u2022 Resonance chamber<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

3.Remove the battery. (See BATTERY REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Remove the battery tray and PCM component as a single unit. (See BATTERY REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

5.Remove the front under cover No.1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

6.Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

7.Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n

\n

8.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

6.Lightly pull and push the quick release connector a few times, and then verify that it is connected securely.<\/p>\n
