\u2022 Do not allow clutch fluid to get on a painted surface. Clutch fluid contains properties which can dissolve the paint. If clutch fluid gets on a painted surface, rinse with water immediately, then wipe the area dry.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Remove the front under cover No.1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Disconnect clutch pipe No.2 from the damper and plug clutch pipe No.2 so that clutch fluid does not leak. (See CLUTCH PIPE AND HOSE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [C66M-R (US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Remove the clutch release cylinder and damper as a single unit.<\/p>\n

4.Pull the clip shown in the figure and detach the damper.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the damper from the clutch release cylinder.<\/p>\n

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

7.Bleed the air from the clutch system. (See CLUTCH FLUID REPLACEMENT\/AIR BLEEDING [C66M-R (US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
