1.Verify that the clutch fluid is between the MIN mark and the MAX mark.<\/p>\n

Clutch Disengagement Point Inspection<\/p>\n

\u2022 When performing the clutch disengagement point inspection, always set the wheel blocks, set the parking brake, depress the brake pedal, and then perform the inspection with the brakes in operation. Otherwise, the vehicle could lurch and cause an accident.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Perform \u201cPedal Inspection Preparation\u201d. (See Pedal Inspection Preparation<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

2.Verify that the pedal height is normal. (See Pedal Height Inspection<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Verify that the pedal free play is normal. (See Pedal Free Play Inspection<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

4.Verify that the pedal full stroke is normal. (See Pedal Full Stroke Inspection<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

5.Apply the parking brake and fix the front and rear wheels with wheel chocks.<\/p>\n

\n

6.Depress the brake pedal.<\/p>\n

\n

7.Depress the clutch pedal.<\/p>\n

\n

8.Start the engine.<\/p>\n

\n

9.With the clutch pedal depressed, move the shift lever to the position just before engaging the reverse gear. (Do not shift completely to reverse position)<\/p>\n

\n

10.Gradually release the clutch pedal and then hold it at the point where the sound of gear-grinding begins (clutch disengagement point).<\/p>\n

11.Measure distance A as shown in the figure when the clutch pedal is at the clutch disengagement point.<\/p>\n
