1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the electric parking brake switch. (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The illumination light is built into the electric parking brake switch. If there is any malfunction, replace the electric parking brake switch. (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
