\u2022 Inspect the brake switch with it installed to the brake pedal, otherwise the brake switch may not operate normally. If the brake switch is removed from the brake pedal, replace the brake switch with a new one.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the driver-side front heat duct No.1. (See FRONT HEAT DUCT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Disconnect the brake switch connector. (See BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [L.H.D. (US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

4.Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n
