The LF control unit verifies the key ID number and if the ID data matches, it sends the ID data (5) to the body control module (BCM).<\/p>\n<p class=\"list\">\n<p class=\"list\">5.The power supply is switched to illuminate the push button start indicator light (amber). class=\"list\">\u2015 Selector lever is in P or N position (ATX)<\/div>\n<div class=\"list\">\u2015 Remote transmitter is within request signal output range of keyless antennas in vehicle interior<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<dl>\n<dd>\n<div class=\"list-title\">Back-up mode (MTX) for engine-start<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<dl>\n<dd>\n<div class=\"list\">\u2022 If the body control module (BCM) determines that either the clutch pedal position switch or clutch cut switch is malfunctioning, the system switches to back-up mode.<\/div>\n<div class=\"list\">\u2022 If the push button start is pressed when all the following conditions are met while in the back-up mode, the remote transmitter authorization is performed and the engine starts.<\/div>\n<dl>\n<dd
