Removal Procedure<\/p>\n

1.Using a disc grinder, grind the continuous arc welds in the 5 locations in area A shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

\u2022 If the front side frame flange is damaged when grinding the continuous arc welds in the 5 locations in area A shown in the figure, the integrity of the bumper bracket installation could be compromised. For the 5 locations in area A, look at the grinding locations while performing the work so the front side frame does not get damaged.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

2.Grind the continuous arc welds in the 2 locations in area B shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

3.Drill the spot welds in the 3 locations in area C shown in the figure from the front side frame (inner).<\/p>\n

\u2022 When drilling the spot welds in the 3 locations in area C shown in the figure, do not drill through-holes in consideration of the workability when installing.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

4.Drill the spot welds in the 2 locations in area D shown in the figure from the front side frame (inner).<\/p>\n

5.Using a belt sander, grind the arc welds in the 5 locations in area E shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

6.Drill the spot weld in the 1 location in area F shown in the figure from the front side frame (outer).<\/p>\n
