Concern Outline:<\/span>
\nThe interior rearview mirror glass may suddenly detach from the housing of certain vehicles equipped with \u201cmanual\u201d dimming mirrors. Note: Vehicles equipped with \u201cautomatic\u201d dimming mirrors are not affected by this recall<\/i>. The mirror glass was not adequately bonded to the mirror housing during the manufacturing process of the interior rearview mirror unit. As a result, the interior rearview mirror glass on some units may not have full adhesion strength. If the interior rearview mirror glass falls off the mirror housing, the driver may have reduced rearward visibility, which may increase the risk of a crash.<\/span><\/p>\n

Owner Notification:<\/span>
\nMazda will notify approximately 9,485 owners of affected vehicles by first class mail on September 19, 2019.  The remainder of affected vehicles have already been repaired or will be repaired before delivery to customers. Owners will be asked to bring their vehicle to the nearest Mazda dealership for repairs. This recall will be present in the Missed Recalls report starting on September 19th.<\/span>
