To All:  Current VIN Inventory List is below.  3319E<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mazda Motor Corporation decided to conduct a Safety Recall Campaign to address a concern with certain 2019 Mazda3 vehicles<\/span>, produced from September 25, 2018 through<\/span> March 8, 2019 affecting 16,982 US vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Concern Outline:<\/span>
\n 
\nCertain subject Mazda3 vehicles may exhibit any one or all six of the following concerns or possibly the additonal items mentiond in red, due to a potentially faulty indicator assembly:<\/span>
\n–<\/span>           The passenger air bag deactivation indicator light may incorrectly turn off, though the passenger air bag is deactivated.<\/span><\/span>
\n–<\/span>           The seat belt status indicator of the front passenger seat may incorrectly turn off, though the front passenger seat belt is unfastened.<\/span><\/span>
\n–<\/span>           The seat belt status indicators of rear passenger seats may incorrectly turn off, regardless of actual seat belt status.
\n–        Instrument cluster warning message “Air Bag System Malfunction. Have the Vehicle Inspected”.
\n–        DTC B00D5:01 (PAD OFF indicator circuit open circuit or short to power supply) stored.
\n–        DTC B00D5:29 (Communication error with instrument cluster (PAD indicator light status mis-matched)) stored.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
