1.Remove the front seat belt lower anchor.(See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Perform the following procedure.<\/p>\n

\n

\n
(1)Switch the ignition off.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(2)Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

3.Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Disconnect the position memory control module connector.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

6.Remove the position memory control module.<\/p>\n

\n

7.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

\n

8. If the position memory control module is replaced, perform the position memory system memory clearing.(See POSITION MEMORY SYSTEM MEMORY CLEARING<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

9. If the position memory control module is replaced, perform the seat position initial learning.(See SEAT POSITION INITIAL LEARNING<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
