Front (Driver-side buckle switch)<\/p>\n

1.Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n

\n

2.Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

4.Remove the front buckle. (See FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

5.Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.<\/p>\n

1.Since the buckle switch cannot be inspected separately, perform air bag DTC inspection. (See DTC B0052:09, B0052:11 OR B0052:14 [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM – US\/CANADA SPEC.)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Rear<\/p>\n

1.Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n

2.Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

3.Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Remove the rear buckle. (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

5.Inspect for continuity between the buckle switch terminals using a tester.<\/p>\n
