\u2022 The dash-electrical supply unit prior to replacement stores the vehicle specification information.<\/div>\n
\u2022 The new dash-electrical supply unit does not store any vehicle specification information.<\/div>\n
\u2022 When the ignition is switched ON after the dash-electrical supply unit is replaced, the dash-electrical supply unit reads the vehicle specification information sent via CAN transmission from the instrument cluster, and stores the vehicle specification information.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

(4)Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

3.Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

4.Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the dash-electrical supply unit.<\/p>\n

\n

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

\n

7.Switch the ignition ON and perform the dash-electrical supply unit automatic configuration.<\/p>\n

\n

8.Perform dash-electrical supply unit configuration (when replacing dash-electrical supply unit). (See CONFIGURATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

9.Perform the DTC inspection for the dash-electrical supply unit using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
