\u2022 Inspect the evaporator temperature sensor when it is installed to the A\/C unit.<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Connect the negative battery terminal.<\/p>\n

\n

3.Switch the ignition ON (engine on).<\/p>\n

\n

4.Set the fan speed to MAX HI.<\/p>\n

\n

5.Set the temperature control to MAX COLD.<\/p>\n

\n

6.Set to the RECIRCULATE mode.<\/p>\n

\n

7.Turn the A\/C switch off.<\/p>\n

\n

8.Close all doors and windows.<\/p>\n

\n

9.Wait for 5 min<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\n

10.Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n

\n

11.Disconnect the negative battery terminal.<\/p>\n

\n

12.Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.<\/p>\n

\n

13.Measure the temperature at the blower inlet.<\/p>\n

\n

14.Measure the resistance between the evaporator temperature sensor terminals A and B.<\/p>\n
