\u2022 When replacing the dash-electrical supply unit, perform the configuration to assure that the system operates correctly. (See CONFIGURATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

(1)Glove compartment (without passenger-side knee air bag module) (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

\n
(2)Dashboard under cover (See DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

(3)Passenger-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(4)Passenger-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(5)Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(6)Passenger-side lower panel (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n

3.Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

4.Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the dash-electrical supply unit.<\/p>\n

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

\n

7.If the dash-electrical supply unit is replaced, perform the following procedure.<\/p>\n

(1)Perform manual configuration using the following procedure.<\/dd>\n
\n
\n
1)Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
2)Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
3)Perform vehicle identification.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
4)Select [Configuration] using the M-MDS.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
5)Select [DASH_ESU].<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
6)Perform manual configuration following the instructions on the screen.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(2)Switch the ignition OFF.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(3)Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) to complete the dash-electrical supply unit automatic configuration.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(4)Clear the DTC. (See CLEARING DTC<\/a>.)<\/dd>\n
