\u2022 When replacing the climate control unit, perform the configuration to assure that the system operates correctly. (See CONFIGURATION<\/a>.)<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

3.Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

4.Remove the climate control unit while detaching the pins.<\/p>\n

5.Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

\n

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

7.If the climate control unit is replaced, perform the following procedure.<\/p>\n

(1)Perform manual configuration using the following procedure.<\/dd>\n

1)Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
2)Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
3)Perform vehicle identification.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
4)Select [Configuration] using the M-MDS.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
5)Select [CCU].<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
6)Perform manual configuration following the instructions on the screen.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

(2)Switch the ignition OFF.<\/dd>\n
<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
\n
(3)Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) to complete the climate control unit automatic configuration.<\/dd>\n
