1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more<\/span>. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Remove the steering wheel bezel. (See STEERING WHEEL BEZEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Remove the steering wheel. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

5.Remove the steering shift switch. (ATX) (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [ET6A-EL]<\/a>.) (See STEERING SHIFT SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [EV6A-EL, EV6AX-EL]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

6.Pry the arrow areas shown in the figure and detach the steering wheel cover pins and tabs.<\/p>\n

7.Pull the steering wheel cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it from the steering wheel.<\/p>\n

8.Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
