ATF Level Inspection<\/p>\n

1.Remove the front under cover No.1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

2.Remove the dipstick securing bolt.<\/p>\n

\n

3.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2 and display the PID TFT.<\/p>\n

\n

4.Warm up the engine until the ATF temperature is 50 \u00b0C {122 \u00b0F}<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\n

5.Remove the dipstick and wipe ATF off using a nylon cloth while leaving the engine idling.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Keep hands and tools away from the cooling fan even if the cooling fan is not operating to prevent injury, or damage to the cooling fan.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Do not touch parts which have become heated. Otherwise, it could cause severe burns or serious injury.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n\n\n\n

6.Insert the dipstick and pull it out again.<\/p>\n

7.Verify that the ATF is adhering between L and F on the dipstick.<\/p>\n
