1.Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n

2.Remove the wheel and tire. (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Disconnect the brake pipe from the brake hose.<\/p>\n

\n\n\n\n

4.Remove the clip.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the brake hose from the bracket.<\/p>\n

\n

6.Install the SSTs<\/span> to the brake pipe as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

7.Bleed the brake line and the SSTs<\/span> of air. Bleed the air form the SSTs<\/span> using bleeder screw A.<\/p>\n

\n

8.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n

\n

9.Select the \u201cBRK_FLD_PRES\u201d PID. (See PID\/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

10.Start the engine.<\/p>\n

\n

11.Depress the brake pedal, and confirm that the fluid pressure value of the SST<\/span> (gauge) and the value shown on the M-MDS are equal<\/p>\n

\u2022 If the fluid pressures are different, replace the DSC HU\/CM. (See DSC HU\/CM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [L.H.D. (US)]<\/a>.)<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

12.After the inspection, remove the SSTs<\/span>, install the brake hose, clamp, and brake pipe to the original positions, and then bleed the air from the brake line. (See FRONT BRAKE HOSE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [(US)]<\/a>.) (See BRAKE FLUID AIR BLEEDING [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
