\u2022 If penetrant lubricating spray penetrates the airflow hole of the HO2S, it could cause interference with the HO2S function.<\/div>\n
\u2022 When removing the HO2S, wrap a clean cloth around the lower position so that penetrant lubricating spray does not get sprayed into the airflow hole.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Lift up the vehicle.<\/p>\n

\n

3.Remove the floor under cover. (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\n

4.Disconnect the HO2S connector.<\/p>\n

5.Disconnect the clips from the body.<\/p>\n

6.Remove the nuts from the TWC.<\/p>\n
