1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION [(US)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2.Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3.Remove the air cleaner and air hose as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4.Disconnect the high pressure fuel pump connector.<\/p>\n

\n

5.Disconnect the harness clip as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n
