\u2022 Do not apply a pressure 20 kPa {150 mmHg, 5.91 inHg}<\/span> or more to the charcoal canister for 1 min. or more. Doing so will damage the charcoal canister.<\/div>\n
\u2022 Do not operate CV solenoid valve.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

1.Remove the following parts as a single unit: (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Charcoal canister (main)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Charcoal canister (sub)<\/div>\n
\u2022 Evaporative hose<\/div>\n<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

2.Assemble the hose used for inspection to port A.<\/p>\n

4.Apply pressure (19.6 kPa {147 mmHg, 5.79 inHg}<\/span>) through the hose, and verify that air does not leak from the charcoal canister.<\/p>\n

1.Assemble the air filter component to the charcoal canister (sub). (See CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))]<\/a> .)<\/p>\n

2.Perform the following procedure to verify the charcoal canister airflow. (Between port A and air filter)<\/p>\n
