1.Position the vehicle on level ground.<\/p>\n

2.Warm up the engine to allow the engine oil temperature to reach 60 \u00b0C {140 \u00b0F} or more<\/span>.<\/p>\n

3.Stop the engine and wait for 5 min or more<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\n

4.Remove the dipstick and verify that the oil level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick.<\/p>\n

5.Remove the dipstick straight, without twisting, and verify that the oil level is between MIN and MAX on the dipstick.<\/p>\n
