1.Remove the glove compartment. (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.Remove the air filter. (See AIR FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)

3.Verify that there is no damage, excessive dirt, or abnormal odor on the air filter.

• If there is any malfunction, replace the air filter. (See AIR FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
Note
• Replace the malfunctioning air filter with a new one without cleaning it with water or compressed air.
