1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Disconnect the hood latch switch connector. (See HOOD LATCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

• Inspect the continuity when the hood is open and closed.
