• The integrity of the touch sensor cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the touch sensor, perform the following procedure.
1.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2.Perform the DTC inspection for the BCM. (See DTC INSPECTION.)

• If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (US)].)• If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.
3.Access the PID using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)
