On certain subject Mazda3 vehicles, it is possible that the parking assist system may inappropriately engage fail-safe mode, causing the i-ACTIVSENSE warning indicator/warning light and the indicator light on the parking sensor switch (1) to illuminate. This is caused by incorrect logic in the parking sensor module (PSM) and the vehicle control module (VCM) used for the judgement of abnormalities.
