Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            2. Perform the following procedures to inspect the selector lever.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, adjust the TR switch. (See <a href=\"SM353175\">TRANSMISSION RANGE (TR) SWITCH ADJUSTMENT [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>              a. Verify that the selector lever can be operated as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM3ZZW00016386.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM3ZZW00016386.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              b. Verify that the selector lever can be operated smoothly and moderately.<\/p>\n<p>              c. Shift the selector lever and verify that the shift position indication and selector lever position match.<\/p>\n<p>              d.
