Replace the TCM if it has been dropped or received an impact.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Make sure that your hand does not touch the terminal as the connector terminal could be damaged.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Water or foreign objects entering the connector can cause a poor connection or corrosion. Be sure not to drop water or foreign objects on the connector when disconnecting it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003517.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003517.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the TCM.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003518.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003518.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Perform the \u201cInitial Learning\u201d (TCM replacement).
