Inspect the wheel alignment and the tire pressure. (See <a href=\"SM352850\">FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM352851\">REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM352857\">WHEEL AND TIRE SPECIFICATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, adjust the applicable part.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Position the vehicle on level ground.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Connect the M-MDS to DLC-2.<\/p>\n<p>            4. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Select \u201cChassis\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select \u201cABS\/DSC\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select \u201cSensor Initialization\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            5. Then, select an item from the screen menu.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>\u201cBrake fluid pressure sensor\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u201cLateral Acceleration Sensor\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u201cYaw Rate Sensor\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>\u201cLongitudinal Acceleration Sensor\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            6. Perform the procedure according to the directions on the screen.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Drive the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>            8. After <b>5 min or more<\/b> of driving, verify that the DSC system is normal.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id04150087020002\" id=\"id04150087020002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>When not using M-MDS<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Depending on the nature of the servicing performed prior to implementing the initialization, a warning light may be illuminated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Inspect the wheel alignment and the tire pressure. (See <a href=\"SM352850\">FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM352851\">REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM352857\">WHEEL AND TIRE SPECIFICATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, adjust the applicable part.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Position the vehicle on level ground.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off) and wait for <b>30 s or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>            4. With your left foot depressing the brake pedal, perform the following procedure <b>within 30 s<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Operate the parking brake. (Brake system warning light illuminated)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Depress the accelerator pedal fully 2 times.<\/p>\n<p>              c. Release the parking brake. (Brake system warning light turns off)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Perform the same procedure one more time.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00007663.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00007663.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Release your foot from the brake pedal.<\/p>\n<p>            6. <b>After 2 s<\/b>, verify that the following warning lights\/indicator lights turns off after <b>approx. 3 s<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Depending on the nature of the work performed prior to implementing the initialization, a warning light may be illuminated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>BRAKE SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>ABS WARNING LIGHT<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>TCS\/DSC INDICATOR LIGHT<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>DSC OFF INDICATOR LIGHT<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>If each warning light\/indicator light is not illuminated\/does not turn off, switch the ignition off and repeat the procedure from the beginning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005129.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005129.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7.
